Walking the Footsteps of Jesus in Lent

During worship, through private devotions and with
in-depth study we’re going to examine where Jesus
walked. For six weeks we’ll use both Holy Land
geography and the events of Jesus’ life to draw closer
to God, using Adam Hamilton’s newest book The Way:
Walking in the Footsteps of Jesus as our guide. The
series starts February 17 and runs through Easter,
March 31.

You can participate on these levels:
1.) Attend worship
2.) Read the 40 Devotional booklet
3.) Study the in-depth resource book
4.) Participate in a video discussion group

Books are available for purchase at the church.
The devotional books are $8 and the study books are
$12.

Discussion group times:
Sundays, 9:30am in office
Wednesdays, 6:00pm in office
Thursdays, 1:30pm Schneider Manor office

In addition, the High School youth will be studying the
same themes and Children’s Church will cover the same
scriptures. Several small groups will be using the
materials as well: Grindle Group on Sunday nights and
Warm Friends Group on Sunday nights. Leader guides
and DVD are available for others if you would like to
form a group to look at the materials Pastor Rick and
five others will return from the Holy Land on February
15. They will draw upon their fresh experience walking
the places where Jesus walked. Through this study,
you too can have sense of “being there".
