BLAST Youth Group
BLAST Youth Group meets on Sunday afternoons from 12:30 to 2pm during the school year. The first Sunday of the month we meet at Vergennes UMC. The remaining days we meet at Lowell UMC. This is for youth in grades 6th-12th.
Every year we do an overnight youth retreat, and a mission trip! This past February, we went to Grace Adventures in Mears, MI. It was a BLAST! This coming winter we are headed to Wesley Woods Camp and Retreat Venter. The youth will dive deeper into life applications of living with God all while having exciting free time withall sorts of exciting activities.
This past summer, our youth group went to Sandy Hook, Kentucky and helped the community tramendously! They were able to help a local school sand and seal wood floors, set up brand new desks, and deep clean the interior and landscape of a home intended to help those battling and recovering from addiction. It was truly an amazing experience! Next summer, we are headed to a more local area up north at Lake Louise Christian Community Camp and Retreat!
